The EPIC 2026-2027 season promises a transformative journey through the very best of chamber music, featuring a world-class roster of artists and bold, immersive programming. We kick off on September 18 with the L.A. Phil Trio, as the stars align for a season opener featuring the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s own Principal Clarinetist Boris Allakhverdyan and Principal Bassoonist Whitney Crockett.

On October 23, Progression invites audiences to witness a "tonal evolution" where sparks are sure to fly. This special performance features a powerhouse ensemble including pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute, violinist Maureen Nelson, cellist Sophie Shao, and Jessica Petrasek, who will bring the complexities of Schönberg to life alongside works by Mozart and Pepin.

We are then honored to welcome The Amernet Quartet on November 20, an ensemble praised by The New York Times for their "intelligence… and immensely satisfying" performances marked by a "vivid quality of unjaded discovery."

The new year begins on January 29 with Charlibean, an exploration of hidden treasures for piano and woodwinds featuring pianist Andrew Staupe and an "All-Star" ensemble of wind players from across the country.

On February 26, the beloved Ivalas String Quartet joins forces with EPIC Director and clarinetist Sergei Vassiliev for a performance of the "eternal" Brahms Clarinet Quintet.

Finally, on May 7, we close the season with the legendary Tim McAllister. Described by Pulitzer Prize-winner John Adams as a "fearless musician and risk-taker akin to Yo-Yo Ma", McAllister’s saxophone artistry provides a thrilling conclusion to a season defined by excellence and discovery.
